Oh, yes… it can happen to you. Head louse can happen to anyone. It is not a matter of poor health habits or being dirty. Head louse are usually transmitted from one infested person to another by direct contact with the hair.

Personal items like combs, brushes, towels and bedding are other frequent sources of contamination. Another source is clothing such as hats, ribbons, scarves and sweaters. The schoolgirl who borrows a comb… the student trying on a hat in a fashion shop… children who share a bed for a nap…the traveler resting his head against the back of an airline seat.
