The last thing we did Friday afternoon was to have the house foundation treated for termite control. We were running very late, but the owner of Enviro Pest Control, Inc. of jacksonville, graciously, accepted to send out a technician to the job site at 5:00 pm to do the chemical spray treatment.

We poured the concrete footer for the garage on Friday afternoon. HARD ROCK MATERIALS is a redi-mix concrete company located right here in Green Cove Springs.Very handy for us and for them.

Good plumbing takes skill and knowledge. Sonnie is working with the drain lines in this photo. After all of the pipes are in,the trenches will be filled in and the fill within the house foundation will be leveled and tamped down firm.

Sonnie Firth (on the left) owns Firth Plumbing, a local company that always does outstanding work. The plumbers have to set the pipes into the ground before the concrete slab is poured.
